If you're an Ambrose student or employee, you can request books for pickup. Follow these steps to search the library's catalogue for a call number that you find in the Chinese Language Collection spreadsheet:
1. Go to the library's Browse Search page and select Library of Congress call numbers from the drop-down menu:
2. When you've found a book you want to borrow in the spreadsheet, make a note of the call number in the Call Number column:
3. In the search bar, enter the call number but do not include CHIN. Then click the magnifying glass to execute your search:
4. You should see the book at the top of the results list, and the record will most likely be in Pinyin:
5. Click the title of the book to go into the record to see if the book is available and to sign in to your account to request it:
6. Once you're signed in, you'll see a Request button:
7. Once you submit your hold, library staff will find the book on the shelf and you'll receive an email letting you know the book is ready for pickup!
