Find Your Library Books

How can I request books from the library?

Items that are in the library's circulating collections may be requested online. This service is only available to Ambrose students and employees.

Go to the library catalogue and click on Sign in:

Select Ambrose Students, Faculty & Staff and then login with your Ambrose email and email password. Search for items by title, author, etc. Consider using Advanced Search for more targeted searching. When you find an item you'd like to borrow, click the availability information to bring you into the record:

When your book is ready for pickup, you will receive an automated email (to your Ambrose email account) letting you know how long you have to pick it up. Sometimes these automated emails can get caught in your spam folder, so double check there!

Your book will be on the Holds Shelf at the Circulation Desk; please sign it out when you pick it up.

NOTE: If the book you requested is currently on loan to another patron, your request triggers a recall to the current user allowing them 7 days to return the book, so please allow up to 10 days for these requests to be made available to you.
