What is a Concordance?

A Bible concordance is an alphabetical listing of words and phrases found in the Bible. Concordances also show where these words and phrases occur throughout all books of Scripture. There are different concordances for each version and translation of the Bible.

Where can I find them?

Search the library catalogue for concordances 2 ways:

1. Subject contains "concordances" and Subject contains "bible":

2. Any Field contains "concordances" and Any Field contains "bible" (since not all have "concordances" as a subject):

Most concordances are available for library use only (located in the Reference collection).
