Ambrose Library Information for Faculty and Lecturers

Google Scholar

If there's ever anything you need that you can't find in the library's databases, we recommend setting up Google Scholar to search the library's resources. The set-up is simple and it can save you lots of time—rather than searching databases one-by-one, once you set up Google Scholar, it crawls all our library's electronic resources and pulls in full-text links from databases and open-source platforms.

Refer to this guide for instructions on linking the library's resources to Google Scholar and searching it for a specific citation.

Interlibrary Loan

If Google Scholar doesn't find you the full text of an article, or if you're looking for a full print book, you're welcome to submit an interlibrary loan request, and library staff will try to source the resource from another library.

If you have questions about interlibrary loan, please email Sophie at ill@ambrose.edu.
