Using the Library Catalogue

A browse search returns an alphabetical list of results for 6 different types of searches:

• Author
• Title
• Series
• Subject
• Library of Congress call numbers (most of the print collection at Ambrose Library is catalogued using Library of Congress call numbers)
• Dewey call numbers (the Education Curriculum Collection is catalogued using Dewey Decimal call numbers)

This search function is particularly useful at Ambrose Library for searching for books in the Chinese Language Collection, since most are not yet catalogued in Chinese characters. See the Chinese Language Collection guide for more information.
