Using the Library Catalogue

Start Here

The library catalogue is a powerful tool that allows you to search many of the library's resources at once. The trick is knowing how best to search it for the resource you're looking for!

If you're looking for a book or eBook, use the Catalogue Search.

If you're looking for a broad overview of a topic, or to find additional search terms, use the Everything Search.

If you want to know if the library has a copy of the textbook for your course, use the Course Reserves Search.

If you're looking to see if the library subscribes to a specific journal, use the Journal Search.

If you want to browse the library's collections by author, title, series, subject, or call number, use the Browse Search.

Be sure to check out the Tips & Tools and Your Library Account sections for some ways to get even more out of the catalogue!
